Cultivate ease. Find relief.

Counseling for families, caregivers, and kids

Are you caught in a cycle of reactivity with your children? Do you find yourself acting out of integrity and caught in shame spirals? Maybe your kids expressing big feelings in big or challenging ways and you aren't sure how to respond.

If you're grieving the relationship you wanted with your child, the parent you want to be and are questioning your good enoughness, hear this, you are not a bad parent! You are a parent struggling with dysregulation and or parenting a child struggling with dysregulation. You, and they absolutely have the capacity to grow, shift and make changes. Through connection, compassion, commitment and practice we can work on this together.

Caring for ourselves and growing a family is hard! It is harder still when we feel exhausted, under-resourced and are flooded and activated by children's or our own big feelings! On the contrary, when we feel connected, supported, and empowered, we feel more confident and experience more compassion for ourselves and others! When we are deeply understood we feel better!  This goes for our kids too! That changes everything!

As a therapist, my primary goal is to work with you (your family or your child) in a way that allows you feel deeply understood. From this connected place, with curiosity and without judgment, we explore your nervous systems' go to stress responses (the fight, flight freeze or fauning), acknowledge, soothe and integrate old wounds. From this  place you can live, lead and relate from a more grounded, connected, and nourished place. That's interpersonal neurobiology in action!

tThroughout our work we identify and practice soothing skills to support you or your child to stay regulated longer in challenging moments, and develop individualized communication strategies and relational approaches to integrate into your parenting and family systems for more ease and connection.

I look forward to working toward your vision of a more connected, secure and peaceful family with you!
